Yesterday brought the surprise news that Fox McCloud would be in the Super Mario Galaxy Movie. Now we know who will voice the Star Fox character: Glen Powell. And he seems pretty excited.

After creating an HDMI upgrade kit for the Sega Genesis called the Megaswitch HD, Stanislav Parhomovich has announced a similar solution for the original Super Nintendo. By avoiding the console’s analog output hardware and connecting directly to its digital buses, the Superswitch HD mod will enable crisp 1080p output (upscaled) over HDMI.
It may be called the Super Mario Galaxy Movie, but Nintendo’s next film is giving off some Smash Bros. vibes now that we know Fox McCloud will make an appearance.

But according to a short video teaser Nintendo of America shared on X, Super Mario Lego minifigures are enroute, you’ll just have to wait until next year to get them.

Nintendo’s new Pokémon smart device is a nostalgic throwback with a few new tricks.


Nintendo has given a release date for the adorable Yoshi and the Mysterious Book, which hits the Switch 2 on May 21st. Donald Glover unfortunately does not make an appearance in the new trailer.
So here’s a lengthy trailer for the Super Mario Galaxy Movie, which includes a dramatic rendition of Mario saying “mama mia” and a surprising amount of action. More importantly is the news that Yoshi will be voiced by Donald Glover. The movie hits theaters on April 1st.
If you have a Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack subscription, you’ll be able to play the Virtual Boy version of Mario Tennis and a game called Mario Clash starting March 10th. (That’s Mario Day.) Nintendo is also adding the Game Boy Advance version of Mario vs. Donkey Kong to the service.


The first two months of the year have been bust with showcases from Xbox, PlayStation, Nintendo, and The Pokémon Company. And now Nintendo is back with its latest Indie World event. It’s streaming on March 3rd at 9AM ET, and Nintendo says it’ll be around 15 minutes long.

The battle-focused spinoff Pokémon Champions has a launch date — or a month, at least. The Nintendo Switch version is out in April, while mobile players will have to wait until later in the year.
Sure, you can just pull up digital versions of the Junichi Masuda’s music from Pokémon Red and Blue. Or you can pick up one of the new Game Boy-inspired music players Nintendo is releasing along with 45 different cartridges that seem to play one song each.
